goodness.

today has been a lazy day. its my first morning off in almost 2 weeks and i took advantage of sleeping in! i decided today to file my taxes. while this task seems daunting to most people, today it wasn't. it was simple and easy. not to mention the awesome return i get! :) but while doing that i was checking email, facebook, my account for this summer and such. i have to say that God is so good.

i learned through all this, that even though the economy is horrible, and people don't have a lot, i am rich. God has given me so much that i consistently forget to thank Him for. i had explained to my prayer group this summer that i was worried about finances for the trip. i had started to doubt that it would ever come in. but God showed me that it is His timing that is perfect. He knew that today, i would be sitting here, minding my own business, check a few things and be brought to tears by His extreme goodness. He continues to show me that His plan for my life is real.

i am overflowing with gratitude for my sweet Savior.
